In the photography world, certain subjects become legendary and right now, the Iberian Lynx is quickly becoming one of them. We’re starting to see lynx images show up more and more in professional portfolios, winning contests, and turning heads across the wildlife photography community. This is your chance to be part of that early wave, capturing one of Europe’s rarest and most photogenic predators!
We’ve timed this trip during the ideal season, when water availability becomes a defining factor in lynx movement and behavior, dramatically increasing the chances of meaningful encounters. With access to multiple professionally managed hides positioned in prime habitat, we’ll have the flexibility to respond to conditions and maximize opportunity. Wildlife is never guaranteed, but the odds here are exceptionally high.
While the lynx is the headline, Andalucía delivers a remarkable range of additional subjects. Expect opportunities for Eurasian Otters, Iberian Ibex, red deer, fallow deer, and mouflon, plus some of the best bird photography in Spain. The region is packed with raptors and specialty species, including Spanish Imperial Eagles, vultures, hoopoes, owls, kingfishers, and many more. You could build an entire birding trip here alone—and we get it as part of the experience.
